Spring is Coming
It all begins with an idea. I want to grow that flower. Where should I place my tomatoes this year? Mentally walking back the start date of seeds I have saved from last year for this years harvest. Spring is inspiring. I walk around my yard checking my early risers: Alliums, Rhubarb, Crocus, Hyacinths. I check for spring buds on my cherry trees. My land is waking up after a long pause of needed dormancy. Our chickens are in full swing, making a basket full of beautifully colored eggs each day. I have planted anemones and ranunculus already, safely tucked below a floating row cover. The weather still has a stiff chill, but I am warm inside. These are the best days
